About this marketWatch our film from the market ↓

The night flea market in the Kammgarn Schaffhausen combines secondhand shopping with a sociable evening in a special setting. It takes place about three times a year, always on a single evening, on a Friday or a Saturday. The former factory site on the edge of the Schaffhausen old town is today one of the city's well known culture and event venues. The history of the Kammgarn goes back to 1867, when Switzerland's first worsted spinning mill began operating here. Today the spacious industrial halls with their high ceilings, open galleries and two levels form an atmospheric backdrop for the evening flea market.

The focus is on secondhand fashion with a remarkable selection of well preserved dresses, jackets, coats, shoes and accessories. Alongside these you'll find vintage pieces, records, DVDs, books, crockery, home accessories and all kinds of smaller finds. The offering is varied and invites you to take your time browsing and discovering.

What makes the night flea market special is its relaxed, lively atmosphere. Between the stalls people browse, try things on, chat and laugh, while a DJ provides the right music. At the bar there are drinks and hot dogs, and a visit to the flea market quickly turns into a sociable evening with friends. The Kammgarn is centrally located and easy to reach by public transport as well as via the nearby parking garages.
