Flohmarkt @ The Stage Vidmarhallen Bern

The flea market the STAGE in the VIDMARhallen in Liebefeld near Bern is a lively secondhand market with a clear focus on fashion and vintage clothing. In the former industrial site, today the venue of The Stage, a house for dance and performance modelled on Broadway, numerous sales stands are spread across several interconnected halls and rooms. The industrial ambience, music from a live DJ ranging between hip-hop and electronic sounds, and a mostly young but quite mixed audience give the market an urban, relaxed character.

The offer mainly includes secondhand clothes, jackets, shoes and accessories, among them vintage pieces and well-preserved branded fashion. In addition there is jewellery, books and smaller finds. If you are looking for individual garments and special styles, you will find a large selection here. Classic flea market items such as old crockery, household goods or antiques, on the other hand, are less of a focus.

For a break between the stands, the «le beizli» offers a flea market brunch. The market usually takes place on the second Sunday of the month, with a summer break from June to August. Since all the sales areas are under a roof, the flea market the STAGE is also suitable for a weather independent Sunday outing in the colder months.
