Stücki Flohmi

The Stücki Flohmi takes place on selected Sundays at Stücki Park in the north of Basel and is organised by the Flohmarktkönig. The market days follow roughly a monthly rhythm. The large shopping and leisure centre is located in the industrially shaped Kleinhüningen district, not far from the Dreiländereck and the Rheinhafen. While the surroundings appear rather plain from outside, the interior of the centre surprises with generous, modern architecture. Plenty of wood, open spaces and striking, drop shaped ceiling lamps give the building a distinctive character.

The flea market stalls are spread across two levels of the shopping centre and are arranged comparatively loosely. Wide passages and generous distances between the sales areas mean that you can move about comfortably even with many visitors. The range corresponds to a classic everyday flea market with used household items, clothes, shoes, costume jewellery and all sorts of small things. The focus is clearly on uncomplicated secondhand goods and affordable everyday items. High quality antiques, special design pieces or selected vintage objects are less prominent.

What stands out is the lively atmosphere throughout Stücki Park. Even on Sundays there is a lot going on here, because besides the flea market, the centre's sports and leisure offerings attract numerous visitors. A gym, padel courts and restaurants ensure a constant coming and going. The flea market fits into this busy environment and invites you to combine your shopping or leisure trip with a relaxed stroll between the stalls.

Particularly practical is the weather-independent setup inside the shopping centre. The large car park offers plenty of parking options, and Stücki Park is also easy to reach by public transport. The Stücki Flohmi is especially suited to anyone who enjoys browsing for affordable secondhand items and wants to combine an uncomplicated flea market visit with the centre's offerings. The Flohmarktkönig also organises the Rüti Flohmi and the XXXLutz Flohmi in Pratteln as well as the Shoppi Flohmi in Spreitenbach.
