Rüti Flohmi
The Rüti Flohmi is a covered flea market on three levels of the Rüti Center car park in Pratteln, all the way up to the roof, hence its name, «Dr Flohmi ufm Dach». Flohmarktkönig's founding market has run for around 30 years and, with around 200 stands, is one of the big ones in northwestern Switzerland, usually on the first Sunday of the month from February to November. Private sellers offer household goods, clothes, tools, bicycles, electronics, watches, coins and stamps, with the occasional antique in between. Pitches are numbered and booked in advance, and neither rain nor snow stops the market. Bus 83 runs from Pratteln station to Rankacker, and parking on the Rütiweg is free.
