FloDo Flohmarkt am Dornacherplatz

The FloDo Flohmarkt at Dornacherplatz takes place in the Solothurner Vorstadt on the southern side of the Aare, once a year on a Saturday in August. The market, organised by the Verein FloDo, was revived after a longer break and combines a traditional flea market with ideas of reuse, sustainability and encounters within the neighbourhood.

The range includes a varied mix of used household items, clothing, books, crockery, decorative objects, rarities and various found pieces. Private vendors sell alongside more experienced flea market traders, so that simple everyday items alternate with vintage objects and occasional collector's pieces.

Dornacherplatz offers space for numerous stalls, in 2026 more than 130 were announced. Even before the official opening there is lively activity with vendors setting up, first visitors and trading already beginning.

The FloDo is a classic, versatile flea market with a pronounced local character. The focus is on browsing through used goods and encounters between people from Solothurn and the surrounding area, not a specialised antiques offering.
