Brocante de Fribourg (Forum Fribourg)

The Brocante de Fribourg is an indoor brocante at Forum Fribourg in Granges-Paccot, once a year on a weekend in late autumn. Organiser Dakota Events puts it under the formula «Antiquités, brocante, vintage»: furniture in Louis XV and Louis XVI style stands next to mid-century design, along with old books and bibelots. More than 65 exhibitors share the heated Halle 1, which has its own entrance.

It began in 2018 as one of the biggest brocantes in the country, at times with 170 exhibitors on more than 9'000 square metres. When the Forum repurposed its big hall, it paused and returned in a smaller format, which the organiser himself calls «plus petit, plus cosy». That suits a brocante well: the whole hall can be walked in an afternoon. The TPF bus line 1 runs from Fribourg station to Forum-Casino; by car the Forum is right by the Fribourg-Nord exit of the A12.
