Puce Brocante Bremgarten
The Puce Brocante Bremgarten has taken place once a year in Bremgarten bei Bern since 1981, always on a weekend in June. The village sits on a hill within a sweeping loop of the Aare and, with its streets and historic buildings, offers a distinctive setting for the two day antiques and brocante market.
Over 80 stalls line up along the Dorfstrasse. The focus is on antiques, selected vintage objects and collectibles, including furniture, crockery, ceramics, glassware, decorative items and older everyday objects. Many of the stalls are run by experienced brocanteurs and antique dealers from all over Switzerland, who present their goods with care. You'll also find dealers here who take part in other larger brocantes in French-speaking Switzerland.
The Puce Brocante thus differs clearly from an ordinary household flea market. The range leans more towards antiques and selected older pieces and also shows a noticeable influence of the French-Swiss brocante culture.
A varied food offering with seating as well as a free children's flea market round out the event. Parking is organised in the surrounding area. The nearby Aare offers additional opportunities to combine your visit to the market with an outing.
Bremgarten bei Bern: a hot summer day, over 80 carefully arranged stalls and the Aare right next door. The village is almost entirely surrounded by a wide loop of the Aare, and once a year part of it becomes an antiques market for an entire weekend.
