About this market

The Nostalgie Floh-Markt Worb takes place on the Landi-Areal near the Worb SBB station on Rubigenstrasse. The market, organised by Jürg Engel, focuses on used goods, vintage objects and nostalgic finds and is one of the regularly held flea markets in the Bern region. It was founded in 2016 and takes place from March to November, always on the second Sunday of the month, with 60 to 80 stalls. Many sellers offer their goods directly from the boot of their car.

The range is broad and includes household goods, crockery, decorative items, older everyday objects, tools and all kinds of curiosities. Particularly striking is the large selection of hand tools, workshop accessories and agricultural equipment. Vintage and shabby chic objects are also represented. Classic antiques, on the other hand, make up only a small part of the range. The focus is on authentic used items, not on new goods or fashion articles.

Characteristic is the sprawling, somewhat winding arrangement of the sales stalls. Numerous tents and tables stand close together, wind around the Landi buildings and extend into the rear areas of the site. The market thus reveals itself gradually as you walk around, with ever new stalls and different groups of goods.

The atmosphere is relaxed and shaped by the rural surroundings. The Nostalgie Floh-Markt Worb is especially suited to lovers of traditional flea markets who enjoy browsing a large, varied secondhand offering and are looking for unusual single pieces. Parking is available in the area around the site, though it can be somewhat tight when there is a larger crowd.
