Hospiz-Flohmarkt Appenzell

A flea market of private sellers on the Postplatz in the middle of Appenzell, between the Restaurant Roessli and the fountain. It is run by the Hospiz-Dienst Appenzell, the volunteer service that accompanies the seriously ill, and the takings of the Hospiz stall itself go to that service; the other sellers keep their own. It runs on Saturdays through the summer and moves to the following weekend when the weather turns wet.
