Gärtliflohmi Scheibenschachen

A neighbourhood garden flea market in the Scheibenschachen quarter of Aarau. Residents clear out their cellars and cupboards and sell from their own gardens, front yards and carports, so the market is spread across the streets of the Aare-Nord quarter rather than held on one square. The organiser publishes a Google map of every participating garden, and a waffle bike, a drinks stand and a local flower grower turn the Sunday stroll into a treasure hunt.
