Flohmi Cinématte Bern
The Flohmi Cinématte takes place in the Cinématte in Bern's Mattequartier, directly on the Aare just below the historic old town, on selected Sunday mornings in autumn. The market, organised by gfunde.ch, combines secondhand shopping with the special setting of the cinema, bar and restaurant by the river.
The focus is on used clothing, shoes and accessories. In addition there is jewellery and the occasional household or vintage item. The offer is mostly geared towards secondhand fashion and thus differs clearly from a classic flea market with antiques and a wide selection of household goods.
With around 20 vendors the market is comparatively small and attracts a particularly young, fashion interested crowd. The Cinématte, with its restaurant, seating and its location directly on the Aare, offers an attractive addition to the actual market visit.
The Flohmi is especially suited to visitors looking for individual secondhand clothing who want to combine their shopping with some time in Bern's Mattequartier.
