Flohmarkt Zug
The Flohmarkt Zug takes place twice a year on a Saturday, in June and in September, in the historic old town of the city of Zug, and extends over several squares and lanes between the lakeshore and the old rows of houses. The market areas include Landsgemeindeplatz, Schwanenplatz, Platzwehri, Gerbiplatz, Seestrasse as well as the Oberaltstadt and the Unteraltstadt.
The range includes classic flea market items, used household goods, books, toys, clothing, crockery and decorative objects. In between you will find vintage pieces, antiques and older everyday items. Private sellers, families and occasional antiques and specialist dealers ensure a varied selection with different price ranges and collecting fields.
The spread across several squares creates a varied route. The stalls are embedded in the historic townscape, with narrow old town lanes, restaurants, cafés and the nearby Zugersee. The market activity thus blends with ordinary life in the old town.
The flea market is suited to anyone who enjoys browsing a mixed secondhand offer and wants to combine the market visit with time spent in the old town of Zug and by the lake.
