Flohmarkt Marktplatz Amriswil
The Flohmarkt Marktplatz Amriswil regularly takes place during the warmer months on the central Marktplatz of the Thurgau town, on one Saturday a month from April to November, with a summer break in July. The open square with a view of the far visible church tower, historic buildings and individual half timbered facades offers a characteristic setting for a traditional flea market.
The range includes a mix of used household items, crockery, decorative items, toys and various secondhand finds. Instead of focusing on individual collecting fields, the market relies on the changing offer of a regional flea market with private and other vendors.
The sales stands are set up on the spacious Marktplatz. This creates an open market area with enough space between the individual stands. Here visitors can browse in an uncomplicated setting and look for older everyday items or individual special finds.
Parking is available right at the Marktplatz. Thanks to its central location, the flea market can easily be combined with a visit to Amriswil.

On the same Saturday, before Schaffhausen, we were standing on the market square at seven. A wide square beneath the tallest church tower in Thurgau, vendors setting up, and whoever comes so early has the market almost to themselves.
