Brocante du Château L'Isle
The Brocante du Château L'Isle is an annual, three-day antiques and brocante event held in the park of the Château de L'Isle in the canton of Waadt, each year in early September from Friday to Sunday. Organised by Jacques Dufour and Swiss Brocante, the event combines a demanding selection of dealers with an exceptional historic setting on the Venoge, true to its motto «Des pièces d'histoire au bord de la Venoge».
The stalls are spread across the extensive lawns around the château, along the paths lined with tall trees and near the long water basin. The generous layout gives plenty of space between the individual stalls and creates a calm, open market atmosphere.
The range is clearly focused on antiques, selected vintage objects and collector's items. On offer are, among other things, furniture, ceramics and porcelain, glassware, lamps, decorative objects and historic everyday items. Professional brocanteurs and antique dealers with carefully curated selections are particularly well represented. Added to this are mid-century ceramics, designer glass, coloured lamps and 20th century furniture.
The château park, with its old trees, water and historic buildings, is an essential part of the event's concept. Catering options and seating complement the brocante. The event is aimed in particular at lovers of antiques, vintage design and selected unique pieces.

Brocante du Château L'Isle: grass under tall trees, a long water basin in front of the château and in between a brocante that you stroll through rather than hunt. Genuine dealer merchandise, as you would expect from Swiss Brocante: antiques, mid-century ceramics and glass, coloured lamps and furniture, plenty of space between the stalls and the shade of the trees on a 33 degree day in September.
