Aarberg PuceAarberger
Aarberg Puce feels less like a flea market than a walk through a carefully composed world. It fills the Marktgasse in the historic centre of Aarberg, between Bern and Biel, where colourful facades, traditional inn signs and unbroken rows of old town houses make the setting part of the experience.
First held in 1977, it has run once a year in April since 2018 and unfolds over four days through the streets. It sits closer to an antiques fair than a classic flea market: the stalls are arranged with care, the pieces thoughtfully chosen, and the atmosphere stays remarkably calm despite the crowds. Between the stalls there is room to sit under the trees and drink a coffee in the sun.

You wander through the streets, moving from stall to stall and from house to house. A day that could hardly be more perfect.
